The Health Sciences Department Quality Assurance Policy is fully in-line with that of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, rendering the Department fully committed to providing high-quality university-level education to the students that select it, organizing and implementing pre- and post-graduate, as well as doctorate, programs of the highest academic standards and added value, both in Greek and English. In addition, the Department pursues the development of a creative environment for research, free scientific expression and work for all its staff and members of its academic community.
The Health Sciences Department guarantees the application of said QA policy to the "New Technologies in Gastrointestinal Surgery – Minimally Invasive Techniques – Bariatric Surgery" MSc program, which it will offer in the future as well, implementing the processes laid out by the Internal QA System of the UoA, aiming for its continued improvement. Through this Quality Assurance Policy, this MSc program can enhance its academic profile and scope, promote its goals, and help achieve its yearly objectives while defining the means and methods of securing the above, and assuring the participation of all interested parties in its processes of evaluation and redesign.
